Nspired is accepting applications for an IT Project Manager to support a growing technology company with financial and government-compliance initiatives.
This is a hands-on delivery role. You'll bring structure to competing priorities, work closely with technical and business teams, and help move remediation and improvement work to completion. Policy interpretation and control ownership remain with the client's accountable specialists.
What you'll do
- Turn agreed objectives into clear scope, milestones, dependencies, owners and delivery plans
- Coordinate infrastructure, security, business applications and external vendors across assigned projects
- Maintain a practical view of risks, decisions, issues and competing resource needs
- Follow up on remediation actions and assemble the evidence and status needed by control owners
- Coordinate testing, business acceptance, approved changes, production readiness and operational handover
- Communicate concise progress updates and escalate decisions with options and a recommendation
- Adapt planning and delivery practices to the work rather than adding unnecessary process
What you bring
- Demonstrated ownership of IT projects from planning through delivery and handover
- Enough technical and business understanding to challenge assumptions, identify dependencies and work effectively with specialists
- Experience coordinating controls, audit-readiness, security or compliance-related work
- Strong prioritization, documentation, stakeholder communication and follow-through
- Comfort working across several priorities in a lean team
Helpful additional experience
- Delivery of SOX-related IT remediation or government-compliance initiatives
- Infrastructure, identity/access, enterprise applications or security projects
- Agile and traditional delivery methods, selecting the approach that fits the work
Assignment details
- Contract engagement through Nspired; individual hands-on delivery
- Work location, on-site expectations, weekly hours, duration, reporting relationship and compensation will be confirmed during screening
- The client needs support promptly; start is subject to selection and agreed assignment terms
